GUATEMALA CITY -- Guatemala City's airport was shut down to air traffic Wednesday after the country's 80 air traffic controllers went on strike over a contract dispute, but officials said they were bringing in replacements from El Salvador and Mexico. Jose Antonio Presa, the country's civil aeronautics director, said four Salvadoran and several Mexican air traffic controllers were on their way to Guatemala and were soon expected to have the airport back in operation.
