May 05, 200505x3I'm editing the photographs from the May Day march, and should have the first five or so online tonight (providing I don't fall asleep at the keyboard first.) Speaking of five... happy Oh-5 Oh-5 Oh-5 day! That's right, today is 05-05-05. Actually, in Guatemala the date is written with the day first, then the month, and then the year. So it's actually 05-05-05. (Try to keep up with me here, people!) Today is also El Cinco de Mayo, which in Guatemala means absolutely nothing at all. Still, I hope you had a happy one. Yesterday, Rachael called me to tell me it was about to be 5:55 pm on 5/5/05. Wenceslao (our Guatemalan houseguest) began watching the clock in my car and said it was like waiting for New Years (sin bombas y cohetes).
