Matt's Confirmation

I want to give a special shout-out to my nephew, Matthew Perri, who was Confirmed today at Grace Lutheran Church. And not to brag (ahem), but he also scored a 98 on his Confirmation final exam. (And that, he assured me, was without cheating.) Impressive.

Congratulations, Matt... I'm proud of you!

PS: You're still a punk, but now you're a Confirmed punk. And I respect that.

He made us all so proud. We missed you but know your love and thoughts were with him. We'll send you lots of pictures! (My pics have a lot of ceiling and floor shots--I am still a novice with the video camera!)

Finally, some good news!! Congrats, Matt! It must of been National Confirmation Day for Lutheran punks, because my son's best friend also was confirmed yesterday.
