Goats and M&Ms

Ok, I'm beginning to sense a trend here.

When I post information about CAFTA, human rights violations, or levels of violence in Guatemala... your comments are few and far between. But should the topic of M&Ms or goats arise, suddenly there's a torrent of replies!

So, I've decided that -- in the interest of meeting your reading needs -- my next journal entry will tell the tale of a Guatemalan goat that flees to the US in search of dark-chocolate M&Ms.

(Trust me, this is far better than the other journal option, something about "the new goat-flavored M&Ms.")

Hehe, sorry about that mental image.

In recognition that today is indeed Friday, the end of a long work week, I've decided to lighten the mood a bit and present to you the oddly-satisfying and utterly-time-wasting...

virtual bubble wrap!

Turn up the sound, and pop to your heart's content.

(Thanks to the Creative Procrastination website for this simulated stress-buster.)

Rob, this is great! I have a friend at work who loves to pop bubble pack, especially when she is stressed. I forwarded this to her via e-mail--now all I hear is popopopopopopopopopopop from her cube!

I am so so so sorry about the M&Ms and goat thing. So...here are my serious replies to past journal entries:

hate CAFTA
PEACE DUKE Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the rest
"Just say no" doesn't work with gangs
fooey tear gas
leave the gold IN the dem dar hills
police stink (unless they are on your side)
Yankees go home...(not you)
May Day is cool and that little girl is precious
tacos and coffee are tasty (even in photos)
the solidarity quote rocks
and
darn it, those M&Ms really are good!

Have a great weekend!

And Carol...I can only imagine what you next door work neighbors thought about the bubble wrap!

Jajajaja!!! This is great... I haven't read the posts about human rights and the levels of violence in Guatemala, but this is just great!!!

Have a nice weekend, thanks for coming to my place...

Ya know, Susan, if I ever write a book about life in Guatemala, I might just entitle it:

"Fooey tear gas!"

I couldn't help it...
I read all the recent entries, but I had to return here... and kill those bubbles again...
jajaja!
