Greetings from NY!

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the silence, but I decided to go "unplugged" for my first week of vacation visiting my family here in New York.

In fact, I'd write more now but my brother is about to pick me up for a day of fishing at the pond with my nephews. If we catch anything I'll be sure to upload a photo or two. (If we don't, I'll at least post a note about the "one that got away"!)

If I had to make a quick observation about the difference between life in Guatemala City and life here in Westchester County, New York I'd have to say: green.

It's always shocking to come home and see so much GREEN. Green trees, green bushes, green plants, and lots and lots of green, green grass. So much bus-exhaust-free oxygen that it almost makes me dizzy.

Well, enough clickety-clack of the computer keyboard. It's time to catch me a trout or bass or marlin or something. (And heck, if the fish manage to outsmart us all day, maybe we'll extract our revenge tonight at a sushi restaurant.)

I hope you all are well and enjoying life wherever you may be!

Rob

Indeed some beautiful weather today in NY, personally I looove going to the catskills, it feels so serene it's almost surreal. Glad to hear you're having fun on what sounds like some very deserved vacation.

Funny that you mentioned eveything green even the pond. Had a great time and I know Andrew will miss you on our next fishing excursion. I am also thankful for not reeling in the creature that lurked beneath, I still think it was a gator. Love, Bro
