Sorry, Bill

Hey everyone!

Here is another reason why I haven't been posting much lately: I'm now living in an apartment without windows.

Before you picture me trapped in some dank cellar somewhere, pining for the light of day, I should clarify: I'm now living in an apartment without Microsoft Windows.

In other words, I've gone Mac! (And you know what they say, once you've gone Mac, you can never go back.)

I'm the proud owner of a MacBook Pro. My previous laptop would crash and burn anytime I tried anything "fancy" in Photoshop like, say, opening a photograph. So I decided to switch from the silly operating system where you have to click the "start" button in order shut down your computer, to the one with the super-cool apple logo.

Unfortunately there's a bit of a learning curve involved with the switch. But my pain will be your gain. As I become more Mac-able, I'll share my some of my tips, tricks and reviews with you.

Don't worry, this won't become a Mac-only blog. Rather, think of it as my regular journal.... but with a new, improved Apple flavor!

A quick personal note, I want to thank my folks for helping me to purchase this amazing Mac machine. When I say "I couldn't have done it without you", I really, literally mean it. (With small monthly payments I should be able to repay your kindness by the year 2032. Sometime in late May, I think.)
